Today started off sunny and chilly. Temperatures warmed nicely, but a high overcast developed during the afternoon. Wet weather will follow for Thursday.
For tonight, we’ll find high clouds thickening up. Showers will hold off until well after midnight but will spread across much of the area by sunrise. Temperatures will cool into the 40s.
Light showers and drizzle will be possible throughout the day Thursday. This will keep temperatures cool with daytime highs in the upper 40s to mid-50s. The light showers or drizzle will continue into Thursday night before exiting off to the east Friday morning. Rain amounts will be light. Most areas will pick up around a quarter of an inch or less.
The clouds will be slow to clear Friday with only some peeks of sun expected Friday afternoon. This will keep temperatures cool for another day with highs in the 50s.
Temperatures will soar on Saturday though. Skies look partly cloudy with more of a west to northwest flow ahead of a clipper. This will push warmer air back into the Ozarks with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
A few showers will come with the clipper Sunday morning. Partly cloudy skies are expected with highs around 60°.
Monday looks a little cooler with highs mainly in the mid to upper 50s. Skies look pretty sunny though.
Tuesday will be a bit warmer as a storm begins to organize to the west. There may be a bit of a high overcast, but temperatures will still warm into the 60s.
The storm will arrive on Halloween. Cloudy skies and mild temperatures are expected during the day. A few showers are possible, but most of the rain will hold off until the overnight hours. There may even be some rumbles of thunder with the showers. Temperatures will be in the 50s for trick or treaters.
