It’ll be a nice day in the Ozarks… pleasant, but on the cool side for late summer again.
Today expect a mix of sun and clouds in the Ozarks, with temperatures just nosing into the lower 80’s. Overnight we stay dry and partly cloudy. Lows will get into the middle 60’s.
Wednesday will be about the same, partly cloudy with low to mid 80’s in the afternoon.
Wednesday night we start to bring in the first of many ripples in the jet stream that will keep us with rain chances for much of the 7-Day.
While the jet stream sits right over us with a northerly flow, it will keep little pockets of upper-level energy passing through the Ozarks like cars on a highway. Our most likely rain chances: Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Wednesday night we could start to see a few showers ahead of a low-pressure center that moves in on Thursday. Thursday expect scattered showers and some rumbles of thunder. Temperatures stay in the lower 80’s under mostly cloudy skies.
Friday a few showers could linger, but most of us could wind up staying dry.
Saturday another low-pressure center moves through, making showers and some thunder likely again through Sunday. We are still working on pinning down a better timeline for the weekend rain chances so stay tuned for updates!
A lone shower could linger on Monday.
Temperatures throughout stay below normal in the low to mid 80’s.
