For the rest of the afternoon expect a few breaks in the clouds with colder high temperatures in the low 40’s. Winds will continue to stay strong out of the NW at 10-15 mph as high pressure continues to work into the region.
Cooler air will stick around for the weekend as a few rounds of cold fronts will work through the area. Highs Saturday will hit the upper 30’s with upper 20’s and low 30’s expected Sunday. A few flurries could accompany the cold front Sunday but no accumulations are possible.
The next system we are watching brings a chance for snow and mix Tuesday. Still a lot up in the air but it could be a more active week.
