Sky Bar Gets Second Chance on Shelves

Mass. — A piece of candy history gets a second chance.

Many thought the Sky Bar was gone forever when the New England Confectionary Company closed its doors last year.

But, the owner of a gourmet food store in Massachusetts says she is stunned to have won an online auction for the rights to the iconic candy bar.

The Sky Bar was introduced back in 1938.

It’s divided into four sections, each filled with a different flavor — caramel, vanilla, peanut and fudge.

A small batch of the bars is currently in the works.
