Springfield park playgrounds to reopen the end of this week

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Playgrounds in Greene County will be opening up May 14 with a few CDC guidelines for visitors to follow.

The park board says people should still stay six feet apart and wash hands often.

Play areas at the parks will only allow 25 people at one time.

Some fitness classes, according to the park board, will be open with modified schedules, but silver sneakers, childcare, rentals and birthday parties won’t be available.
