GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — The Springfield-Greene County Health Department announced a new death due to coronavirus on Saturday, Aug. 15.
The deceased was a man in his 70s who had underlying health conditions.
“The health department extends our condolences to loved ones at this tragic time,” the health department said.
This is the sixth death of the month, bringing the total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the county to 17.
