Officials investigating an ‘unattended death’ in south Springfield

UPDATE: Greene County Sherrif’s office is still waiting for the Medical Examiner’s Office to complete the autopsy.

Deputy Jason Winston says they have not found anything suspicious regarding this incident.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Greene County officials are investigating a death in south Springfield.

Sheriff Arnott said this incident is an “unattended death” and the cause is currently unknown.

There is crime scene tape and multiple police vehicles surrounding the home on Rockwood Street and South Farm Road.

This is an ongoing investigation. KOLR 10 will post updates as they arrive.
