JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Capitol dome and the Missouri Governor’s Mansion will glow purple on Thursday, in recognition of Military Child Day.

Governor Mike Parson said lighting the dome and mansion is a way to pay tribute to those children across the state.

Parson also encourages Missourians to wear purple Thursday in a show of support.

Both buildings will shine purple through sunrise tomorrow.
