Seasonably cool and quiet weather to stick around the rest of the week. Skies won’t be quite as bright as they were Wednesday, but there will still be plenty of sunshine to enjoy after a soggy start to the week.

There is another storm on the horizon, but that will hold off until the weekend.

The weekend storm will bring clouds and some showery weather to the Ozarks. Rain chances will ramp up Saturday afternoon with showers and drizzle Saturday night through Sunday. Light showers and drizzle should wrap up early Sunday evening as the storm pulls away from the Ozarks.

It won’t be a repeat of the soaker from earlier this week with rain amounts from the weekend storm mainly under half an inch. Rain totals will be heaviest toward North Central Arkansas and Southeast Missouri.

No Halloween scares in the weather arena Monday evening. It will be clear and cool with light winds.

We’ll kick off November on a mild and quiet note. The quiet pattern won’t last though with a stormier pattern unfolding later next week.
