Wojcik twins to transfer from Missouri State

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Freshman twins and Poland natives Szymon and Jan Wojcik will transfer away from the Missouri State Men’s Basketball Team.

Head Coach Dana Ford made the announcement Thursday afternoon adding he does not expect any further departures.

Szymon Wojcik made nine starts and appeared in 14 games during the 2018-2019 season before season ending foot surgery in January.

Jan Wojcik played 18 games, though limited minutes resulted in just 1.4 points and 0.9 rebounds per game.

“We are in full support of Szymon and Jan’s desire to transfer, and we don’t anticipate any additional players departing,” said Ford in a statement. “They have both represented our university in a first-class manner during their brief time here. We wish them nothing but the best.”
