COLUMBIA, Mo–Drew Lock led the SEC’s most prolific offensive a year ago. And the Tiger QB got off to a great start in his junior year.
“Drew played about as good as I have seen him play. He’s practiced at that level most of fall camp,” said coach Barry Odom.
“We distributed the ball really well today. A lot of guys got touches on the ball. And when their number was called, they made plays,” said Drew Lock.
Lock broke both the school’s record for touchdowns and yards thrown in a single game. He ended up with 521 yards and 7 touchdowns. Nope not even Chase Daniel threw for 7 touchdowns.
“Think about all the guys that played quarterback in my position when I grew up, watching, idolizing. Now I was tied with them last year and now I get to bump up ahead of them. It’s pretty crazy, it’s going to take awhile to really think about,” said Lock.
