Tigers maul Rogersville girls in state semfinals

SPRINGFIELD, Mo–I was a frantic Friday for the three local high school teams playing at home in the state semifinals.

In Class 4 girls action, the Rogersville Lady Wildcats battled Lincoln College Prep in a semifinal game.

And the Tigers jumped out to a big lead, Chorus Davis with the three from the top of the key, it was an 11-nothing Lincoln Prep lead.

But Rogersville would rally, the inbounds to Maci McHenry who beats the buzzer, but the Lady Cats were down by nine.

Second quarter Rogersville Jordyn Gault with the three pointer, it’s a four point deficit.

Then McHenry feeds Sydney Dunavant who hits the 15 footer, it’s a two point game.

But Lincoln College Prep would go on another run, Brionna Budgetts with the steal and she goes coast to coast for the layup and the Tigers beat Rogersville 40-18.
