Strafford wins its 114th straight in state semifinals

SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The Strafford Lady Indians are two wins away from their fourth straight Class 3 state championship.

Thursday night unbeaten Strafford played unbeaten Trenton.

Kayley Frank hits this jumper and the Lady Indians were out to an 8-0 lead, she had a game high 12 in the first half.  

Trenton finally gets on the board with two straight threes, Mykah Hurley hits the second to make it 10-6. 

But Hayley Frank responds with back to back threes of her own, 16-6 Lady Indians.

Then Madison Chittenden closed out the quarter. A trio of triples from her in the first. 19-6 Strafford

Second quarter, Hayley Frank starts to put this out of reach. Another three makes it 22-6

And Strafford wins it’s 114th straight victory 63-33.        

And the Lady Indians will play Lutheran North for the championship.

The Crusaders beat Licking 56-48 to advance to the title game at 4:30 Friday.
