The Logan-Rogersville volleyball team captured its seventh consecutive district championship Tuesday in a thrilling 25-14, 22-25, 25-19 victory over Marshfield.
The host Wildcats controlled the opening set, with All-State junior Birdie Hendrickson leading the attack. But Marshfield stole the momentum in the second set, as Rileigh Mings led a spirited effort with a series of crucial blocks and kills.
The Wildcats withstood the challenge from Blue Jays, finishing another run through districts on a Hendrickson kill to close the third set.
