Odom: Lock Can Handle Hype

SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The Mizzou Tigers will open the 2018 campaign at home Saturday afternoon against Tennessee Martin.

The Skyhawks were 6-4 last year out of the Ohio Valley Conference.

Mizzou will certainly pay attention to this FCS school.

Last year Missouri State outplayed the Tigers in the first half.

Barry Odom wants a better showing and wants to see his team build on its six game regular season winning streak.

Ten starters return on offense including quarterback Drew Lock.

“I think the preseason accolades are awesome.  I hope that the post season accolades match up to what they are right now.  Because that means we played winning football.  He’s got enough moxy to him that he won’t let too much affect him.  We also have to get ten guys around him that play well,” said Odom.
