SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Four games left in Valley women’s hoops and the Lady Bears are still tied with Drake for first.

MSU hosts third-place UNI on Friday, then Drake comes to town for Senior Day in one week. The most important games of the season.

Set your DVR for the season finale of Lady Bears Legacy which airs Thursday night at 10 on KOZL. 30 minutes with Head Coach Kellie Harper, with extended highlights and previews of these big-time matchups with Northern Iowa and Drake.

Also this week, Matt Vereen chats with the team’s only senior, Danielle Gitzen, as she reflects on her outstanding career as we approach Senior Day.

The Missouri State men were picked to finish 8th out of 10 Valley teams in the preseason poll.

A new head coach, a roster full of transfers that looks nothing like last year’s team, no one knew what to expect.

Dana Ford expected to compete for championships, and his Bears are right there.

After beating Indiana State on Saturday, and Drake and Loyola losing Sunday, the Bears are back in a 3-way tie for first place.

If they win their last two games, including Saturday against Drake, they’ll be Valley champs and the top seed at Arch Madness.
