Mizzou takes season series against Bears

COLUMBIA, Mo–The Missouri State Bears wrapped up their season series with Mizzou Tuesday night in Columbia.

In our Bear Nation report, Keith Guttin’s troops were looking to snap a three game losing streak to the Tigers.

That includes a Mizzou win last week in Springfield.

And the Tigers would strike first in the first, Kameron Misner grounds out to first, that scores Paul Gomez it’s 1-nothing.

It was 2-nothing in the sixth when Misner takes this deep to right center, way over the boards and gone, a solo shot it’s 3-nothing.

Later in that sixth, Cameron Swanger takes this deep to right center, this goes off the boards, Mark Vierling and Peter Zimmerman both score it’s 5-nothing.

Missouri State finally gets on the board in the ninth on this RBI single by Dakota Kotowsky, but Mizzou wins 6-2.
