Michael Porter Jr. Leaves Mizzou For NBA

COLUMBIA, Mo–The Michael Porter Junior era is over at Mizzou.

And it lasted three games, 53 total minutes of action and 30 points.

A little more than an hour ago, Porter announced on instagram that he’s leaving the Tigers to enter the NBA draft.

The announcement is not a surprise, many pundits projected Porter as the top draft pick in June.

However in November, Porter underwent back surgery to repair herinated discs.

The 6-10 forward returned for Mizzou’s last two games of the season.

Porter thanked Mizzou nation, his coaches and teammates for their support this season.
