Lasers bring back two players from championship team

SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The defending World TeamTennis champion Springfield Lasers restocked the team for 2019 Tuesday.

Two Lasers from that championship team will return, and the team drafted three new players for this summer.

Returning to the team will be Abigail Spears, who’s a doubles specialist.

Springfield also protected Misha Kecmanovic.

The young Serbian won match point that secured the King trophy last summer.

The 19-year old will only play in the first four matches in July.

In addition to Kecmanovic and Spears.

The Lasers drafted another doubles specialist Joe Salisbury from London.

In the third round, Springfield picked Spaniard Kiki Lopez Perez and Russia’s Anna Blinkova to round out the squad.

The first match is Sunday, July 14th.
