Lake Report, July 13th, 2018, Lake of the Ozarks

CAMDENTON, Mo--Now for our Friday lake report, and we're going to look at Lake of the Ozarks,  a little more than an hour north of Springfield.

The water temperature at Lake of the Ozarks is 81 degrees with the water at normal level but dingy.

The catfish are good and biting on hotdogs and stinkbait.

The crappie are fair and hitting minnows and dark jig baits.

The black bass are slow and biting on crank bait and top water lures.

Now for a couple of pictures, the first is from Ken Watson.

He's showing off a bass that he caught in Arrowhead Lake in West Plains.

Ken released him back into the lake, but says he put up a fight.

The second picture features 7-year-old Lila Jensen and her mom sent us this picture says Lila caught this catfish at Lake of the Ozarks.

Believe it or not, we have one more Friday lake report, so if you want your fishing picture on tv, send it to me soon.
