The Lady Bears forced 21 turnovers in the game, leading to 23 points. Aubrey Buckley, Brice Calip and Danielle Gitzen joined Fruendt with at least 13 points apiece.
Missouri State (14-10, 10-3 MVC) knocked off two stout defensive squads in a successful weekend homestand against Bradley and ISU.
“They were focused on doing what we needed to do to get two wins,” Head Coach Kellie Harper said.
“I’m so, so proud of them because this was not an easy weekend, and we walked in and handled it really well.”
The Lady Bears will go back on the road Friday to play Loyola. MSU dominated the first matchup, 75-36 on Jan. 21.
