Irish’s Riley Wants Uncle Sam

SPRINGFIELD, Mo–Springfield Catholic quarterback Tyson Riley announced Monday night on Twitter that he’s going to go to play football at the United States Military Academy.

Riley accounted for more than 2,100 yards as a senior, 1,600 of those on the ground.

He rushed for 28 touchdowns and threw for three, and for the second year in a row, Riley was a first-team All-State selection as a defensive back.

The Army Black Knights were 11-2 last season including wins over Air Force and the Naval Academy.
