Glendale’s Wilmsmeyer shuts out Ozark

SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The Missouri high school baseball state championship tournament is underway.

Sectionals have begun across the Show-Me State in the five classes of baseball.

At Parkview high school, it’s Class 5 District 10.

Monday afternoon,  it was Glendale against Ozark in one district semifinal.

And the Falcons would score early in this one, bottom of the first and Max Elmer singles to center and he’s on board.

Later in that first inning, Thomas Brand lines this to straight away center, over the outfielder’s head and off the fence, Elmer scores all the way from first on the double, it’s 1-0 Glendale.

The Falcon’s Ty Wilmsmeyer was throwing b-b’s, here he gets a strike out with the nasty breaking ball.

Wilmsmeyer was on his game, and Glendale shuts out Ozark 2-0.
