Confident Lock Ready For Mizzou Campaign

COLUMBIA, Mo–Barry Odom’s Mizzou Tigers will kick off the new season a week from Saturday.

Mizzou will open at home against Tennessee-Martin.

Tiger coach Barry Odom has had his players in preseason mode the last few weeks, but like many coaches has transitioned to game week preparation.

Mizzou will be trying to keep the momentum going after winning six of their last seven games.

Quarterback Drew Lock returns and says he’s feeling comfortable going into the new campaign.

“I’ve always been confident.  I don’t have to tell you guys that.  I’m a confident guy.  But I think relaxed is a good way to put it.  It’s my fourth year of doing this.  It’s my second year of seeing you today.  My fourth year of playing football.  Just like everything that’s involved in my life right now is relaxed,” said Lock.
