Chiefs Offense Ready For 1st Preseason Test


ST. JOSEPH, Mo–The vibe at Kansas City Chiefs camp in St. Joseph has changed a bit.

The Chiefs will kick off their first exhibition game of the preseason on Thursday.

KOLR 10’s Daniel Shedd says the team’s in game mode.     

On Sunday, head coach Andy Reid choosing to implement a lot of game-type situations like 3rd and long, as well as long-distance drills. 

Today is much the same as QB 1, Patrick Mahomes, gears up the offense for the Texans. 

“This is going to be a tremendous opportunity because now he (Patrick Mahomes) gets to go out there and take care of his show. It’s go time. Everything that we have talked about, everything we have done from the classroom to film, to individual drills and to 7-on-7, has now come to the task of coming out to preform,” said Chiefs Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy.

The Chiefs will kick off their season 7:30 against the Texans on Thursday night, but you are going to want to tune in at 7:00pm for our KC Blitz show.
