Blue Eye girls win track state championship

The Blue Eye girls relay teams earned a Class 1 team state championship with three first-place finishes Saturday in the Show-Me State finals. The Bulldogs finished first in the 4×100, 4×200 and 4×800 meter races to clinch the team title.

Two Ozarks athletes return with multiple first-place medals. Greenwood senior Danielle Wilson won both the 200 and 400 meter dashes in Class 1, while Chadwick senior Evan Smith is a triple champ after winning the Class 1 800, 1,600 and 3,200 meter races.
