KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs hit the indoor practice field Wednesday at Arrowhead as they prepare for Sunday’s game at Oakland.

And some reinforcements joined the team.

Leading the charge was safety Eric Berry who was practicing for the first time since 2017.

Berry has been battling a heel injury but was cleared to go Wednesday.

Also joining the team was center Mitch Morse.

Berry was limited in practice, Morse was able to fully participate.

Reid says it’s too early to tell if he’ll play Sunday against the Raiders.

“We’ll just see how he’s doing.  And there’s no pressure there.  It’s just how he feels.  Just play by play,” said Chiefs coach Andy Reid.

“Just the passion that he has.  You can feel it every single day.  He’s working his tail off and I’m glad that he’ll be out there with us.  He’s going to come out and bring that spirit, that leadership role.  And come out there and play his tail off.  And I’m excited to have him on that defense,” said Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The Kansas City Chiefs have five games left in the regular season, three of those are at home.

KC is in Oakland Sunday, then host the Ravens on the ninth you can see both of those games on KOLR 10.
