EVANSVILLE, Ind–The Missouri State Bears opened a three game Valley series in Evansville Friday night.

In our Bear Nation report, Keith Guttin’s team is in sixth place in the conference, one spot behind the Aces.

It’s the last Valley road trip of the regular season for Missouri State.

And it was scoreless in the fifth when Missouri State gets on the board, Dakota Kotowski smokes this to center, it goes off the fence, Jack Duffy scores it’s 1-nothing Bears.

But Evansville ties it up in the bottom half, A.J. Fritz singles to left, Tanner Craig motors home from second it’s 1-1.

The Aces led 3-1 in the eighth inning when the Bears tie it back up, John Privitera singles to right, that scores Logan Geha and Ben Whetstone, and we’re all tied up at three.

Into extra innings we go, and in the bottom of the 12th, Evansville has the bases loaded and Matt Jones scorcthes this to short, it eats up Privitera and Jacob Vesecky scores and Evansville wins 4-3 in 12 innings.
