SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The Missouri State Bears will tip off the Missouri Valley post season  tournament Friday afternoon at 2:30 against Bradley.

This comes on the heels of losing to Drake Saturday 73-62.

In our Bear Nation report, Dana Ford’s Bears finished in a tie for third place with Southern Illinois.

And got the fourth seed in Arch Madness because the Salukis won the tiebreaker.

Missouri State finished the regular season 16-15 and 10-8 in the conference.

“There’s no secret with our team.  We’re a little bit smaller than most.  We play a little more of a possession game than most.  I’m more interested in who we play then what time and what number. All that stuff doesn’t matter,” said Ford.

Here’s a look at the top of the Arch Madness bracket for the Bears.

Top seed Loyola will play either Indiana State or Valpo at noon Friday.

Then the Bears will play Bradley at 2:30.

The winners will meet at 2:30 Saturday.

And the championship game is Sunday at 1:00 p.m. here on KOLR 10.
