And the Lady Eagles Emily Edwards pulls up from ten feet, and it was a seven point game in the third quarter.

Kickapoo would built on that lead, Jordan Wersinger pulls up and swishes the three, it’s Lady Chiefs by ten.

Nixa trying to keep pace, end of the third quarter, Kelsey Biro with the three from the top of the key, it’s 46-38 Kickapoo.

The Lady Chiefs would maintain that lead in the fourth quarter, down the floor to Madelyn Barrett for the easy two, it’s 51-41.

Then Wersinger turns the corner and hits the baseline j, 53-43. 

Kickapoo goes onto win 71-58.

In other Class 5 girls action, Camdenton beats Blue Springs 56-49.

The Chiefs and Lakers play Saturday at SBU in the quarterfinals.
