SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The names Tom Hanks, Jennifer Aniston, and Scarlette Johannson probably sound familiar to you, but what about Linda Flowers? Celebrities and many in Springfield recognize the name.

Steve Pokin with the Springfield News-Leader described the journey of a Central High School graduate who moved to Los Angeles and became a high-demand stylist to the stars.

“I didn’t know movies. But I knew hair,” Flowers told Pokin in a recent interview.
