BOONE COUNTY, Mo. – (KRCG) The Missouri State Highway investigated a single-car crash this afternoon that left two seriously injured and two others with moderate injuries.
According to the crash report, the accident happened eastbound on I-70 near the Rocheport exit.
31-year-old Kelly Garrett of Kansas City was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer when the accident happen.
10-year-old Sanazjia Kelly, 11-year-old Savaghan Kelly and 12-year-old Savannah Odoms were all passengers in the vehicle.
Troopers said the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway before overturning and ejecting two of the occupants.”
Garrett and Sanazjia Kelly were both taken to the University of Missouri Hospital in serious condition. Odoms and Savaghan Kelly went to the same hospital in moderate condition.
The report also stated Garrett and Sanazjia Kelly were not wearing their seat belts.
