Two From Licking Killed in Missouri Crash

LADDONIA, Mo. -- The Highway Patrol says three people, including two people from Licking, Missouri, have died in a crash in Audrain County Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened about 2:00 p.m. on Highway 54, about 2 miles south of Laddonia.

Killed in the crash were Douglas Turner, 75, of Licking, Helen Turner, 72, of Licking, and Kyreoin Glispie, 18, of Justice, Illinois.  The driver of the car Glispie was riding in was seriously injured.

According to the Patrol's online report, the crash happened with the car Glispie was in was passing a tractor-trailer rig, then hit the Turner's car head-on. The Turner's car was then pushed into the tractor-trailer. 

According to the Patrol's report, the Turners were both wearing a seat belt.  Glispie and the driver of the car he was in, were not wearing safety devices.
