MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. – A man from Tennessee drowned in Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend.

According to the MSHP report, Brett Davidson, 37, of Clarksville, Tennessee, was last seen at 8 p.m. on Friday night (July 13) on a dock at Lick Branch Cove. Davidson was reported missing on Friday night.

A search was conducted and found Davidson’s body near the 5.2 mile mark in the main channel of Lick Branch Cove Saturday morning.

The report states that Davidson was not wearing a safety device.

This is Troop F’s third drowning of 2018, all of which occurred this month.
