UPDATE (6:45 p.m.): The Port of Seattle Police cleared a suspicious package that, according to KING, shut down arrival and departure decks to incoming cars for at least an hour Sunday afternoon.
The shutdown began at about 2:30 p.m.
SEATTLE, Wash. (KING) -- The departure terminal at the Sea-Tac Airport in Seattle, Washington is closed to incoming vehicles as police investigate a suspicious package.
KING reports that traffic is at "a complete stop" approaching the departure terminal.
"Out of an abundance of caution, the upper drive has been evacuated," the airport tweeted Sunday afternoon.

Those incoming to the airport are encouraged to stop at the Tukwila International Boulevard Station and take the light rail.
