As our high sits just to the southwest, it will drape a pathway of storminess just to our north. The main show of storm complexes will be areas like in Iowa and Illinois, but we could tap into a few spotty storms from those leftovers, especially as the ridge, or the outskirts of that path, breaks down by the beginning of next week.
For us, this means isolated storms cannot be ruled out Saturday through Wednesday of next week. No day will be a washout, widespread rain/ storms are not expected. But you'll want to be weather aware for spotty storms especially if you're camping or fishing!
Highs stay hot throughout, hovering 90 degrees through Monday. As the hot pattern breaks down, highs will come down to the upper 80's Tuesday and Wednesday, thanks to a cool, not cold, front that will come through Wednesday morning.
Storm chances continue into late next week with temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
