Saturday, July 7 Overnight Forecast

Spotty Storm Chances, Heat and Humidity Return --

Temperatures tonight will be cool, in the upper 50s to lower 60s, and comfortable so you can give your AC a break and open some windows!

Conditions tomorrow will be much like today, warm with temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s, but comfortable, as the humidity will be low.  Throughout the day, humidity levels will rise as a change in wind occurs, coming from the south, bringing in moisture.  This will help increase storm chances as a disturbance comes from the east.  Showers will be spotty, not everyone will see rain, and the storms will stay mainly to the south and east of I-44.  These storms will die down as the sun sets.  Highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s, lows overnight in the lower 70s.

Monday, the disturbance from Sunday will linger around, keeping storm chances around through most of the afternoon hours.  Again, storms mainly south and east of I-44.  Temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s during the day and lower 70s overnight.

Tuesday, a weak boundary will come from the north, keeping our storm chances around for another day.  Scattered showers are expected through most of the Ozarks, but, again, not everyone will see rain from this.  Highs in the lower to middle 90s and lows overnight in the lower 70s.

All of this rain will move out and a high pressure will move back over the Ozarks, and with it comes hot, dry and humid conditions once again.  Temperatures by the middle of next week will be back in the middle 90s and heat indices will be back up in the triple digits.
