SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A tree climbing competition where hundreds of people across the Midwest meet up to see who can climb a rope to the top of a tall tree at Nathaniel Greene Park.
Believe it or not, today's competition was actually for professional tree climbers, not just mere backyard hobbyists, who actually have to register and pay to compete.
People from six surrounding states were at the event today.
This video is from Chance Martinez, from Kansas, who was competing in the Master's Challenge.
Climbers compete in a series of events, and the winner took home state of the art climbing gear.
