OZARK, Mo. -- Right now, people in Ozark are enjoying an added benefit at the Farmer's Market.
Until 7 this evening, anyone with a "Snap" or EBT card will get double the value for any purchase made.
So a $25 Snap purchase, will get you $50 worth of food.
While the benefit is obvious for the card user, vendors say they like it too.
"It's really helped our sales, this is the fourth week we've been doing it, it helps sales so it's a win-win, we're helping the community and helping ourselves," E.J. McKenna with McKenna farms said.
The Ozark Farmer's Market is open every Thursday through Sept., between 3:30 and 7, at The OC, on W. Jackson Street.
