SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Springfield fire crews were battling a house fire early this morning in the 1800 hundred block of North Hilton. This call came in around 3:00 this morning.

The first home was fully engulfed when the fire department arrived. They noticed the fire started to spread to another home — so they made sure everyone was out and worked to save that structure. 

There were a few people home at the time of this initial fire, but everyone made it out with out injuries. 20 fire fighters responded to the scene. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
