ALTON, Mo. — All three children from Oregon County have been found safe, according to a news release from the Oregon County Sheriff's Office.
ALTON, Mo. - The Oregon County Sheriff’s Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for three children that law enforcement says were kidnapped December 18.
Missing is 11-year-old Leena Joseph, 10-year-old Jonathan Joseph, and 3-year-old Destin Joseph. Destin Joseph is a white, male, age 3, 3 ft. tall, 30 lbs, with blonde hair and brown eyes. Jonathan Joseph is a white male, age 10, 4 ft. tall, 75 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Leena Joseph is a white female, age 11, hgt 3’9″, 80 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police say the children’s mother, Lacey Joseph, was arrested shortly after 5 pm December 18 after after failing to turn the children over to officials with the Missouri Division of Children Services in Alton. She is reportedly refusing to give law enforcement the children’s location.
Authorities say the grandparents of the children, Michelle and John Joseph, might know the location of the children, but are also refusing to cooperate with law enforcement.
A male subject was seen using Lacey Joseph’s EBT card at Walmart in Pocahontas, Ark.
Anyone seeing the missing persons, the suspect, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Oregon County Sheriff’s Department at 417-778-7888.
