SPRINGFIELD — If you are looking for a free thanksgiving meal, there are several places around the Ozarks you can go. 

Salvation Army is hosting a free lunch from noon to 1 p.m. at their location on 636 North Booneville Avenue in Springfield.

Victory Mission Church will have a dinner tomorrow at 5 p.m. at 636 North Booneville Avenue in Springfield.

Ebenezer United Methodist Church at 1795 W. Farm Road 56 will serve a meal at 1 p.m. Call Laura Miltenberger at 417-894-9854 or Carol Huffman at 417-773-8983 to RSVP. 

Grace United Methodist Church at 600 S. Jefferson Ave. will be open at 5 p.m. for a free meal. 

Hillcrest Presbyterian Church at 818 E. Norton Road is cooking and serving Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Reeds Spring Intermediate School will serve a meal. The address is 75 Elementary Road in Reeds Spring. Retired school cook Shirley Mease and her family will offer a meal on site and delivery if you can’t make it. Call 417-337-3414 to have a meal delivered. Groceries and toiletries will also be distributed.
