CAMDEN COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed they have found the swimmer who went missing in the Lake of the Ozarks.
The incident report says that William Gordon-Price, 27, of Overland Park, Kansas was found dead around 1:30 this morning (5/28/19). He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Camden County Medical Examiner.
The search for Gordon-Price began around 6:30 Monday night (5/27/19). Troopers responded to the 1-mile marker of the Grand Glaize arm for a report of a missing swimmer from a boat.
The MSHP dive team went in the water shortly after 10 Monday night and continued searching until the body was found.
The report says the swimmer was in the water and went under, but never resurfaced.
This is Troop F’s first boating/drowning fatality in 2019.
