Here's a look at the markets for June 29, 2018...

The Nikkei is up 34 points today in Tokyo.
The Dow gained 98 points Thursday.
The Nasdaq added 58.


Amazon is buying the online pharmacy, Pillpack, for around $1-billion. It will allow the tech giant to ship prescriptions around the country. Amazon's entrance into the healthcare industry caused the marketvalue of drugstores to drop more than $14-billion in a single day.

Tesla is sending emails to everyone in North America who reserved a Model 3, saying their electronic sedans are ready to order. They didn't give a delivery date, but customers can now choose between three different models. Tesla also asked for another $2,500 to confirm the order. That's on top of the $100,000 deposits customers have already paid. 

And good news for gamblers in Atlantic City. Two shuttered casinos have reopened. The Hard Rock, formerly the Trump Taj Mahal, underwent a massive redesign. It held a mass guitar smashing ceremony Thursday. And the Ocean Resort replaces the Revel, which closed in 2014 after declaring bankruptcy. The openings also restore 6,000 of the 11,000 jobs that were lost.
