ST. ROBERT, Mo. — A man from Waynesville dies after suffering from a medical condition while behind the wheel of an SUV.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the accident happened Wednesday afternoon on Highway 28 just east of St. Robert in Pulaski County.

Troopers say Charles Kristek, 46, had a medical emergency while driving, causing him to run off the road, hit a tree, and two mobile homes.

Kristek had minor injuries from the crash but later died at the hospital from his medical condition.
