CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) – A woman is dead after a fire broke out at a home in St. Louis County.
Police say officers responded to a fire alarm at 2:33 a.m. in north St. Louis County and found that a home was on fire.
A woman found at the home was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The victim’s name and age have not been released.
St. Louis County police spokeswoman Tracy Panus says the fire did not appear to be suspicious but an investigation continues.
