DALLAS Co., — A woman is dead after her vehicle collided with a road grader yesterday afternoon.

Chandra Nicholas, 60, of Buffalo, was driving on Highway 73, just north of Buffalo, when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck the road grader.

She was transported to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, and was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the road grader, 60-year-old Donald Claspill, of Long Lane, Missouri, had only minor injuries. As required by law, he was tested for impairment.

Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
