This weekend fans and fellow athletes will remember a beloved Ozarks bull rider.

The “Ridin’ With Mason Lowe Invitiational” is happening at the Bill Hailey Arena in Cassville, tomorrow night.

Lowe was an Ozarks native who passed away in January. He was killed during a PBR event in Denver.

40 cowboys, in collaboration with Lowe’s family, will help remember him during the inaugural event.

Brady Sims is a PBR bull rider from Missouri, who knew Mason Lowe. He told us what this event means to him.

“Just the best way that all of us could think about remembering our friend and doing what he loved and what we all loved to do. so it just kind of made sense,” Sims said.

You can buy tickets at the Bill Hailey Arena gate.

They’ll be $10  for adults and $5  for children under 12.

Bull riding starts at 7 p.m. You’re encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

All proceeds will be donated to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
