SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A crash on James River Freeway Saturday morning, Feb. 11, has led to one death.
Gary Sawyer, 74, was killed when a driver attempted to make a U-turn with a 2011 Peterbilt tractor and became disabled, blocking the road. MSPH traffic reports said the vehicle Sawyer was driving hit the other vehicle.
Sawyer was pronounced dead by the Greene County Medical Examiner’s Office.
