UPDATE 2/8/23 — According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Littlejohn has been apprehended.
Littlejohn was arrested near the 38000 block of Highway VV at 12:42 a.m. on Feb. 8. The arrest was part of a multi-agency effort that included Pettis County K9 teams, Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers and an air unit.
“Littlejohn was called in by a homeowner allowing us a fresh start on our hunt,” wrote the BCSO in a release. “Littlejohn has plagued the South end of our county for some time. That ended this morning!”
Littlejohn is charged with four felonies: unlawful possession of a firearm, tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of burglary tools and resisting arrest while creating a substantial risk of serious injury. He also get a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Another person — James E. Shaw III, 45, of Edwards — was arrested in connection to the Littlejohn thefts.

BENTON COUNTY, Mo. – The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they are considering armed and dangerous.
Nicholas Littlejohn, 30, is wanted in relation to a series of thefts and burglaries, as well as several car thefts in Benton County.
On Monday, February 6, Littlejohn fired a weapon at a deputy as the deputy pursued him.
Littlejohn ran and law enforcement from both Benton and Pettis Counties searched the area with help from a drone and tracking dogs.
Littlejohn is believed to no longer be in the search area. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said Littlejohn is still on the run and may be looking to steal another vehicle.
The sheriff’s office suggests residents keep their garages, homes, and vehicles locked.
